Those of you who have been around for a while might remember that last November, I did a similar post: A Writer's Wishlist. It really seemed like people liked that, so I decided to keep the tradition and write a new post for y'all!
Christmas is coming just next month and below I've created a short list of some gift ideas for readers. Whether you are wanting some suggestions of gift ideas to buy for a reader friend or are just looking for supplies and accessory ideas for yourself, I hope this list is is helpful!
(I also made a YouTube video version of this post, so if you want to watch that, you can here!)
Pastel highlighters
Some readers like to highlight quotes and passages that stand out to them, but finding the right highlighters that don't bleed through the paper can sometimes be hard. I personally love the brands Stabilo Boss and Tombow!
A clamp reading lamp/light
If you consider yourself a bookworm, you've probably had a late night or two (or ten) where you stayed up late to finish an especially compelling novel. Adjustable reading lamps to clamp next to your best can be super useful! I have a similar one to this.
A literary candle
A few months ago, I bought a Hobbit themed candle from Lamplighter Literary Creations, and it is my favorite candle ever. The company has a wide collection of scents (though they do sell out quickly) and they make the perfect bookish gift.
A personalized book stamp or embosser
My grandparents bought me a book stamp personalized with my name once, and it was such a special gift! Being able to stamp my favorite books with a pretty and professional design is so fun, and it makes a wonderful present.
Annotation tabs and sticky notes
Tabs or sticky notes are such a great tool for marking things in your books without making permanent damage. I love tabbing quotes that I want to come back to and write down later, and use a pack similar to this.
And of course, books
How can I not include books on this list? The ultimate gift for a bookworm is, of course, a book - however, the choosing can sometimes be hard. If you'd like some of my personal recommendations, I have a Goodreads list of my favorites!
What are some of your favorite reading products? I'd love to hear below!
