What is freedom?
A little girl asked
.
When I can fly away, flee
The caged bird squawked
.
What is freedom?
A little girl asked
.
When unopposed I can be
Opposites bitterly spoke
.
What is freedom?
A little girl asked
.
When still is the sea
The tides longingly said
.
But, are these hopes
Of freedoms really true?
.
The little girl thought not
And so tried anew
.
What is freedom?
A little girl asked

When the Son sets you free
Her Father answered
